- Published in News
INNOVADE joined project partners in Warsaw, Poland, on 18–19 November for the final Transnational Project Meeting and concluding conference of the GROWS project—an initiative dedicated to strengthening sustainable waste management practices within the VET sector.
The partners met on 18 November to review the project’s results and complete the final steps of the collaboration. On 19 November, the GROWS Final Conference gathered an audience primarily composed of students, educators, and VET professionals who engaged in presentations and discussions about sustainability and waste management.
During the conference, partners presented the Work Packages they led, outlining the project’s achievements and the innovative solutions developed to support VET providers in adopting greener practices. The event concluded with insightful contributions from local speakers and an interactive discussion with the audience on environmental challenges in education.
The GROWS project delivered a suite of practical and forward-looking resources, including:
- A Green Strategy e-toolkit designed to help VET organisations integrate sustainability into their operations and teaching.
- An interactive E-Learning Platform and OERs, incorporating gamification and an intelligent tutor that guides users through the creation of a green education action plan.
- A targeted training program providing VET providers and trainers with practical tools and methodologies for embedding sustainable waste management into their work.
Throughout the project, hundreds of participants across the six partner countries engaged with the developed materials and activities, demonstrating strong interest in enhancing sustainability in VET settings.
