INNOVADE at the GreenYOU Final Events in Klaipėda, Lithuania

On 19–20 May 2025, INNOVADE joined partners from across Europe in Klaipėda, Lithuania, for the concluding activities of the GreenYOU project: the final partner meeting and the final public conference.
The final partners meeting, held on 19 May, offered the opportunity for reflection and planning. Partners reviewed the completion of work packages, sustainability strategies, dissemination efforts, and the project’s overall impact. The day ended with a collaborative discussion to ensure a strong wrap-up of the GreenYOU initiative.
On 20 May, the GreenYOU Final Conference was hosted at KVK Faculty of Technology. It brought together educators, youth professionals, and stakeholders to explore the role of green skills in youth employability. Presentations covered critical themes such as:
- “Green You: Enhancing Youth Employability during the Green Transition”
- “Green Skills for Youth: Challenges and Opportunities in the Job Market”
- “Green Projects in Action”
- “Building a Green Future: Youth and Environmental Skills Development in Lithuania”
- “Environmental Awareness in Social Work: Integrating Green Competences”
The session “Green Skills for Youth: Challenges and Opportunities in the Job Market” particularly resonated with attendees, highlighting key findings on emerging job trends and gaps in green education and training.
As an innovation-driven partner, INNOVADE proudly contributed to the success of the GreenYOU project and looks forward to applying the lessons learned in future sustainability-focused initiatives.
